I found the staff very helpful. they provided good recommendations for local restaurants. the hotel is centrally located, easy to explore the city. the building was excellent. It had clearly been beautifully restored.
the location felt a little unsafe at night. the area near the hotel seemed seedy. i also noticed the windows did not adequately block out noise (especially from the neighborhood).

A mixed experience. Some issues detracted from the stay
seedy locationexpensive breakfast
The location proved a bit tricky at night. i felt slightly unsafe walking alone because the area seemed a bit seedy. also, the breakfast wasn't included and cost an extra €20 per person, which i found a bit steep. the hot drinks came from an automatic dispenser. It didn't even work without staff assistance. this was pretty disappointing.

I was a little annoyed that the room was not properly soundproofed. Street noises really bothered me all night. I also noticed the air conditioning was quite weak. It barely cooled the room, made sleeping difficult. the stay was okay, but these issues put me off a little.

i loved the breakfast served in the attic room. it felt very cosy. the hotel staff prebooked a cab for me. they also moved my bags when i switched rooms.
the hotel location felt a little unsafe at night. it was a bit seedy. my room windows were not soundproof. it was quite noisy because of nearby pubs and restaurants.

The hotel's location felt a bit seedy at night. I'm not sure I would wander around alone after dark. It really was a dirty area.
